I was 12 when I first started playing basketball, at the time there was no girls team. I along with a few of my friends joined the boys team and with time more and more girls joined. Eventually we had enough girls for our own team, it was both exciting and challenging. Exciting because we finally had our own team, but challenging because we had to work hard to keep it going.

During my last year playing in the club, I also started helping out coaching a younger girls team which I have been doing for almost five years now. Now even though I no longer play, I am so happy to see the club growing especially for all the younger girls joining and loving basketball ❤️🏀
