Meet some of our players
What do you like about playing for beasts?
I like how we as a club are all connected and have a good relationship.
I love basketball, the coaches are great and I have fun doing it.
We have a great team and a good community.
Since its a smaller club everyone sort of knows everyone which is nice. The team that I play for, Damer 18, is also a great team and we have all gotten to know each other which makes it so fun to practice and play games or tournamemts.
I like that everyone is friendly and that the club feels like a small community or a big friend group.

It’s great that my team is so good at basketball! It’s really fun to be part of the team and play, and we have a fun community on the team. It’s also super cool that we compete in USM, the Gothenburg Festival and other competitions! We also do fun things together off the court, for example, we record TikToks.

We are just like a family and i have very good coaches.
They have good coaches who train well.
I like the togetherness that we have in our team and the speed and action when we play games. I love basketball because I have a lot of friends there and the trainings always makes me happy!

WE SUPPORT YOUNG PEOPLE WHO WANT TO PLAY BASKETBALL AND GROW WITH US
Every match is a chance to show our team spirit and love of basketball. As adult volunteers it’s also an opportunity to model positive, welcoming and supportive behaviour for our players.
Every moment together, on and off the court, can be used to inspire each other, push our limits, and celebrate the journey we share as a team and as a club.
Our primary directive has always been to create a basketball club where children and teens can experience maximum joy while engaging in:
– healthy exercise and skill development
– physical, mental and emotional development
– building respect for self and others
– learning the value of teamwork and pursuing common goals
being involved in a club like ours can be life affirming, and not just on the court
We strive to deliver unforgettable basketball experiences for young people that not only ignite their passion for the game but also strengthen their confidence and sense of belonging.
